Outside-In Social Navigation — recording notes, October 18, 2026 General demos: SEAN Warehouse development scenarios blind_corner_control, crossing, side_rear and blind_corner, each at seed 0 with YOLO11 nano, surround RGB-D, confidence 0.25 and the original E3 controller. Fixed for this recording pass; all retained. Case studies: four post hoc selected E3 encounters. Original camera videos were recorded during navigation. External overhead videos replay those saved commands using the pinned simulator. Each replay must match robot pose within 1e-6 m/rad, person positions within 0.01 m, and person presence. This is a visualization-fidelity check, not a changed experimental pass/fail rule or new navigation result. The free camera does not feed observations to the controller. General demos are recorded live; outside diagnostic views are labeled action replays. All cameras are synthetic. The blue robot/red pedestrian rings are viewer annotations. NO-PERSON supplies no person observations. O-All supplies all true positions through the original tracker and 0.1s delivery delay. GT-State supplies exact current positions and velocities directly to the unchanged controller. Neither is a performance bound. Outcomes use the existing E3 contract v6. These selected cases do not replace the registered Stage A analysis. Goal reaching does not establish social comfort. A learned representation, equal-compute evaluation, and ORCA comparison remain planned.
